Race Director:
I have been the Race Director for the following running events.
Samson Stomp, Milwaukee County Zoo.  The Samson Stomp is an annual running event held each January within the Milwaukee Zoo.  This event is more then just a one race show.  The Samson Stomp is a family event with adult races of distances of 5 K & 2 M, and children races of distances 1 M & 1/4 M.  I was the Race Director from 1999 throu 2004.  In 2003 Runner's World magazine named my race their favorate January run.  The Samon Stomp is Milwaukee's biggest winter running event with over 1200 runners.
Deer Run 5 & 10K, Brown Deer WI.  In 2004 the village of Brown Deer was struggling to organize a running event in their community.  In mid 2004 I was asked if I would consider becoming the Race Director for this new Milwaukee area running event.  I accepted and am very proud to say that I build a brand new very success race from the ground up.  After creating the race and being its Race Director for its initial few years I stepped down to become the President of the Badgerland Striders Running Club.  The Brown Deer Run is held in April so come be one of over 500 runners.  We offer two distances to choose from, a 5K and 10K.  We have a combined mass start and each race also returns to this same start/finish line.
Lakefront Marathon Buildup, Milwaukee WI.  Since 2001 I have been one of the Buildup Captains for Milwaukee's Lakefront Marathon training runs.  These free training runs starting the first Saturday in July and help would-be marathoner's increase their distance in a controled and safe enviroment.  Our training runs are free to anyone training for any fall marathon.  We regularly attract over 150 runners of all skill level from as far away as Chicago.  Our training routs offer many hydration stops and offer 100% free post run consoltations with professional Sports Medicine providers.  If your training for any fall marathon please join use.
Badgerland Striders:
