Let's check the Wind Sock, I mean Wind Penguin. And the Starter is ready now. After storming the lake this is the first photo of me as I'm coming out. <note: by this time I had already fallen knee deep through the ice not once, not twice but three times.>I needed to stop and finish my beer.I was looking down to watch where I stepped as I didn't want to fall through again. <note: you'll see why soon.>Still being so carefull with my footing.Oh... Hi!Hey look... I'm sporting WOOD after coming out of a VERY COLD Lake Michigan. My dry and fully dressed Support Team, Nancy, Kathy, Me, Wayne and Jim. Anne took the photo and Jim was ordering a Pizza.Shoes off and I'm standing in ...... a bucket of Hot Water I brought down.Hey guys... I think I lost something...Quick, Andrew said He's freezing his b@!!'s off, everyone help me find them.Dude... your bleeding!Holy Crap... I'm all scratched up.There were shards of ice frozen together like a very thin crust, and when you broke through the crust the shards would cut and scratch your legs. Everyone who came out of the water was cut up. <note: view this photo in "Large" view to see just how bad my legs were.>Here's our plunge neighbor, post plunge. I was a nice neighbor and let her stand in my Hot Water bucket. As she stepped into the bucket I went to keep her bathrobe out the water and she leaned over and said "I'm not wearing anything", I winked and let her bathrobe drap in the water."Elvis has left the building", well he is leaving anyways. <note: see past years for more photo's of Elvis.>
