Here is Steve and Nancy heading down to the Drangon's Teeth lava flow. And this is the Dragon's Teeth lava flow.If you scan the edge it does kinda look like Dragon's Teeth.Nancy next to one of the teeth. This side of Maui is always very windy. As you can see it was wet and slippery from the wave braking over the side. Here's a view over the edge of the lava flow.So guess who decided to wander over the edge. And yes it was slippy and wet. This is a view of Honolua Bay.A close-up of the cliffs in Honolua Bay.I had read that the roads in this part of Maui were not good. I was relieved to see that they were GREAT... I would soon find out that what I had read was oh so right.A view from Nakalele Point.Waves crashing off Nakalele Point. This is the most northern part of the island.More of the waves crashing. They say the ocean is alway choppy over here.More of Nakalele Point. There is Blowhole within Nakalele Point, here's a sign while looking for the blowhole.
