A little over 10 miles down the road from Hana the road becomes one lane. It's a one lane road for two way traffic. With many blind corners. And really no where to pull over if one meets a car coming the other way. When we drove the road back in 2006 we turned around at Waimoku Falls. Honestly it was not fun driving this part of the Hana Highway. This is St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kaupo Maui on the Hana Highway. The chruch was buildt in 1862.
