A close up of some of the waterfalls.Flying over one of the many valleys.This is the Keanae Peninsula, a small village with taro plots.This is Honomanu Bay and it's black sand beach. That's the Hana Highway on the right.All these valley's are on the side of Mt. Haleakala. Those are reciently burned Sugar Cane fields in the lower right.These are pineapple fields.More pineapple fields. Pineapple fields are become more and more rare as it's cheaper to grow them outside of the US and ship them in.Approaching our take-off/landing point right next to the Kahului Airport.Nancy and I post flight. We flew with Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours.
