This is Makena State Park. Just to the right of the land jutting out into the water, center picture is Little Beach. We vistited Little Beach on our last day on Maui. And unknown to us before we got there is that Little Beach is a nude beach. Nancy did let me take pictures but sad to say those were some of the ones lost by Walgreens.This is the Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve. A 1,238 acres contain marine ecosystems (807 submereged acres), rare and fragile anchialine ponds, and lava fields from the last eruption of Haleakala 200-500 years ago.Looking back at the Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve and some of the lava valleys formed during the last eruption.Some of the many waterfalls on the south side of Haleakala National Park.There are at least ten waterfalls in the photo, can you find them all.
