Here's Mark and I pre-flight

Shortly after take off, north of Kahului.

Looking back at Kahului, Kahului is Maui's largest.

That island just right of center is Mokeehia Island and is a Seabird Sanctuary.

We traveled south after coming out of the NW rainforests. This is Makena State Park. Just to the right of the land jutting out into the water, center picture is Little Beach. We vistited Little Beach on our last day on Maui. And unknown to us before we got there is that Little Beach is a nude beach. Nancy did let me take pictures but sad to say those were some of the ones lost by Walgreens.

This is the Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve. A 1,238 acres contain marine ecosystems (807 submereged acres), rare and fragile anchialine ponds, and lava fields from the last eruption of Haleakala 200-500 years ago.
