We left Yellowstone and drover across Wyoming to Devils Tower National Monument.

This part of Wyoming is flat with small rolling hills. While driving on Hwy 24 we crested a small hill and there it was.

Just like a scene out of 'Close Encounters Of The Third Kind'

This natural marvel is 1267 feet high.

Here a close up of one of the columns. Each column is approximatly 2 feet in diameter.

We left Devils Tower and headed over to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore.

Can you name all the Presidents.

Construcation started 1927 and ended in 1941. Each figure is about 60 tall.
