The photo shows the villages taro fields.  In 1946 24 residents where killed when a tsunami with waves 35 feet tall washed over the peninsula.More of the Peninsula.DSCF0958.JPGDSCF0959.JPGSteve with the Keanae Peninsula in the back ground.This is the Waikani Falls.We rounded a turn on the Hana Highway and this is what we found.A large tree has come down and was blocking the road, we waited about 15 minutes while workers cleared a fallen tree.This is Pua'a Ka'a Falls.Here's a view of Mt Haleakala from the Hana side.We saw this sign just outside of Hana.  I guess we Packer fans really are everywhere.This tree looks too cool, it's a Samanea Saman tree.This is Paihi Falls and is 50 ft tall.The falls are roadside so we could get a great photo with Steve.Here a view of Hana beach.  We had packed a lunch and it was around noon so we parked and the three of us ate lunch looking out at the Pacific ocean.
